Description

Meyer Najem invites Construct Connect (Chicago, Illinois) to submit a proposal for the 2022 Brownsburg HS Site Improvements Project. Meyer Najem, the Construction Manager, is requesting proposals for the 2022 Brownsburg HS Site Improvements for the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. Project Description: The realignment and pipe encapsulation of the Mary E. Wilson Legal Drain through an approximate 1,900-foot segment between Grant Street and Odell Street. The purpose of the project is to ensure the public safety and protection of infrastructure from flood conveyance hazards while allowing for the future expansion needs of the high school campus. This project includes but is not limited to traffic control, erosion control, site demolition, earthwork, site utilities, hardscapes, and landscaping. Further description of work can be found within the bid package and project drawings/specifications. This Project is being bid under one (1) Bid Package. 2022 Brownsburg HS Site Improvements The Bid Package includes all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, submittals. etc. associated with said scope of work. This is a Public Bid and will require a Bid Bond and Performance / Payment Bond. All Contractors and Sub-contractors for IDOA Public Works projects valued at over $300,000 MUST be pre-qualified through the Public Works Certification Board, prior to BCSC Board Approval of Contract or will be grounds for bid to be rejected as non-responsive. Pre-qualification requires submission of an application for review by the Public Works Certification Board members. NOTE: Bidder is REQUIRED to submit a copy of their current IDOA Certification with the Bid. *PLEASE NOTE: The Architect/Engineer has issued Addendum #01, dated 9/8/2022 for the project, that includes an Addendum Narrative, Revised Scopes of Work and Revised Drawings and Specifications.
