FY 2022-23 CDBG Minor Home Repair Grant Program

The City of Independence is seeking proposals from qualified firms to manage and implement the Minor Home Repair Grant Program. This Program is funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. This Program targets low-income single-family homeowners with incomes at or below 80 percent of the area median income (AMI). The City expects to make available approximately, $138,000.00 in CDBG funds. To be eligible, projects must benefit low-income single-family homeowners with incomes at or below 80 percent of the area median income (AMI).
