Seismic Retrofit and Rehabilitation

This project consists of seismic retrofit and rehabilitation of multiple structures along I-80 in Washoe and Lyon County, between mileposts WA 43.80 to 45.09 and LY 0.00 to 3.70. The road is classified as an Interstate, has two lanes of traffic in each direction, and a posted speed limit of 70 mph. Traffic control will consist of single lane closures utilizing flaggers, ramp closures, and crossovers to facilitate two-lane, two-way traffic on one side of a divided facility. This Transportation Management Plan (TMP) will describe the transportation management strategies developed throughout the course of this project. The strategies developed include the Maintenance of Traffic Plan and the Transportation Operations Plan.
