BMP Maintenance and Remediation Services

Qualified contractors to provide maintenance and remediation services for various BMPs on an on-call, as-needed basis. Hampton’s Stormwater Division maintains (42) publicly-owned water quality BMPs and inspects over 400 privately-owned BMPs within the City’s limits. Both Proprietary and Non-Proprietary types are located within the City of Hampton and require maintenance and/or remediation as deemed necessary based on recurring inspection by the City’s Stormwater Operations and Engineering Department. 2. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials/supplies, licensing, permitting, work zone staging, transportation, insurance and any incidentals necessary to provide the services as specified herein. 3. Maintenance and/or remediation services includes but is not limited to: a. Landscape Maintenance (e.g. mowing, trimming, edging, debris removal, weed control, chemical applications and litter control; Note: Deflective guards shall be in place during mower operation and the contractor shall take care as to not blow debris into adjacent areas outside of the project limits or into the streets) b. Hardwood Mulch Installation c. Ditch and Basin Excavation d. Pipe Installation e. Rock, Stone and Rip Rap Installation f. Denuded Area Restoration g. Erosion and Sediment Control h. Tree Falling / Removal i. Hydrodynamic Separator, Underground Vault and Filterra Maintenance j. Camera, Vacuum and Sweeper Truck Rate k. Tree Stump and Root Removal l. Aquatic Plant and Landscape Vegetation Restoration.
