Description | The telecommunications and data network systems provide critical infrastructure for voice and data signals. The installed systems include, but are not limited to the following: cable, conduit, equipment, hardware, racks, wire ways, cross connections, surface raceways, pull boxes, cabinets, power provisions, grounding/bonding, terminations, and related administration of all components. It is the intent of these Specifications to provide a complete, workable telecommunications and data network infrastructure ready for Owner's use (unless specifically indicated in this Section or on the Drawings, the Contractor is to furnish all material and labor necessary to deliver a complete and operable system). Any item not specifically provided in the Contract Documents, but normally required to meet this intent, is to be considered a part of the scope of Work. Work includes provision of labor, material, equipment and transportation required to complete the Work as shown on the drawings, specified herein and/or implied thereby. The entire completed construction or the various separately identifiable parts hereof required to be furnished under the Contract Documents. The Work includes and is the result of performing or furnishing labor and furnishing and incorporating materials and equipment into the construction, and performing or furnishing services and furnishing documents, all as required by the Contract Documents. Coordinate all work outside the Work. Contractor is to actively protect the existing office areas in place while working within scope of work and restore the Work areas to pre-disturbed conditions between Work shifts each day that Work is conducted. Contractor to provide daily reports including date and time stamped photographs of the work area before protection methods are executed, of the executed protection methods, and restored work area once Work shift is complete. The Work consists of tenant improvement of Legal department, conference rooms, hallways and Executive Offices located at Las Vegas Valley Water District West Administration Building. Construction includes selective demolition of existing partitions, ceilings, doors, light fixtures, millworks, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building elements that are required to be modified as required for new construction. New construction includes new partition, interior finishes upgrades, new ADA upgrades at restrooms and drinking fountains, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, data, and fire safety upgrades to accommodate new design layout. Contractor shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to construct the facility in accordance with Contract Documents.
