Description

1. Remove and replace two (2) existing fishing decks using ground contact pressure treated lumber or approved HDPE type product. Deck railings will be designed to accommodate ADA access to fishing activities and still be safe for all visitors. Size and design will be similar to existing structure. Deck surface to be flush and at the same level of the concrete approach. Remove/replace, or repair the deck footings to ensure stable foundation for decks. 2. Renovate one (1) existing boardwalk (located between two existing bridges) work to include deck and railings replacement and under structure replacement if needed using ground contact pressure treated lumber or an approved HDPE type alternative. . Remove/replace, or repair footings if needed to ensure stable foundation for boardwalk. 3. Structural materials could predominately be pressure treated and rated for ground/ water contact or an approved alternative material recommended for railings and or decking on the project. Rust and corrosion resistant fasteners and hardware is required on all facets of the project. Stain, paint, and sealants are not required unless specified or recommended for materials contacting water.
