Description

As of July 26, 2022, a design builder has been awarded for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Notice is hereby given that the City of Kingman is issuing this Request For Qualifications seeking Statements Of Qualifications from qualified, licensed Design-Build firms interested in providing pre-construction and construction services to undertake remediation at the aluminum dross disposal area located at the Kingman Municipal Airport. This will be a one-step, qualifications-based process as authorized by ARIZ. REV. STAT. 34-601 through 34-613. A separate Request for Proposal will not be issued. In accordance with the Procurement Code of the City of Kingman, Arizona, and Arizona Revised Statutes Title 34, the City will accept sealed SOQ for the Services. The City intends to rank SOQ scores based on the selection criteria in the RFQ package. Interviews may be conducted as part of the selection process. The City will enter into negotiations pursuant to the City of Kingman Procurement Code with the top-ranked firm on the final list. If the City is unable to successfully negotiate a contract with the top-ranked firm, it may then enter into negotiations with subsequently ranked firms in its sole and sound discretion. All sealed submittals must be received by the due date and time assigned at the submittal location specified herein. Any response not received at the specified submittal location by the due date and time assigned will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine, and to waive or not to waive any informalities in any submittal. All information regarding the content of the specific submittals will remain confidential until a contract is finalized or all submittals are rejected. QUESTIONS SHALL BE DIRECTED TO: Doug Breckenridge at dbreckenridge@cityofkingman.gov Responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the solicitation invitation number and the Applicant's name and address clearly indicated on the envelope. All responses must be completed in ink or typewritten. Additional instructions for preparing your responses are provided on the following pages. Responses must be in the actual possession of the City Clerk's Office and stamped by a member of the Administrative Services staff on or prior to the exact time and date indicated above. Late responses or unsigned responses will not be considered under any circumstances.
