Description

The project is for the construction of two single level buildings containing three one-bedroom apartments with one of those units a handicap apartment. Each building is approximately 2,221 square feet slab-ongrade foundation, wood frame with brick, stone, and rock veneer, with cement board siding above on all sides; and roofing material is 1 ½” Mini-Batten Architectural Metal Roof Panels. Each apartment shall have its own front and back entry door, a full bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, and closets; Energy Star doors and windows, Mini-Split HVAC system, instant water heater, and electrical system with LED lighting and Radon systems. Work includes site work and parking area and any other work as outlined in the plans and specifications. Contractor will construct Longtail Court street approximately 584 lineal feet of 7” PCC Paving with curb and gutter; and construct approximately 590 lineal feet of 6” water main and any other work as outlined in the plans and specifications. This includes 2 storm sewer inlets and some RCP pipe. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials and services as required to replace existing Watchfire 35mm (Model BC550) Message Center as per these specifications and as necessary to provide a fully functional unit. The new display shall be retro-fit into existing concrete support structure (two photos attached). If any alterations to existing metal support structure are necessary it shall be Contractor's responsibility, subject to City pre-approval. Contractor shall connect the display to the existing electric supply. The opening in the concrete support structure is approximately 6'9" high by 13'9" wide (subject to vendor verification). Vendor is also responsible for removing & legally disposing of existing display equipment. The City reserves the following rights and options: o Determine those bidders who are most qualified. o Reject any or all submittals, for any reason, at its sole discretion. o Supplement, amend, or otherwise modify this solicitation. o Cancel this solicitation with or without submission of another solicitation. o Reserve the right to request additional information as part of this selection process. o Issue additional solicitations for information and proposals, and conduct investigations with respect to the qualifications of each respondent.
