Maybrook Bikeway II – Pin 8756.84 - Phase A - ALT 1 and Pin 8761.05 - Phase B

Share 1 – PIN 8761.05 – Phase B: The project extends from the Maybrook Bikeway II – Phase A eastern project limit (the I684 entrance/exit ramp overpass near the intersection of Star Ridge Road at Route 6) to the NY/CT State line for a total of 4.68km (2.9 miles) all within the Town of Southeast. Share 2 – PIN 8756.84 – Phase A – Alt 1: This project includes Alternative #1 from the original Phase A project, extending between the western project limit at Pumphouse Road to the Maybrook Bikeway II – Phase A western project limit at Tonetta Lake Road overpass, for a total of 0.98km (0.6 miles) all within the Town of Southeast Construction of the bikeway along the former secondary track of the Maybrook/Beacon Rail Line. The work shall include, but is not limited to: trimming and reshaping existing rail bed; constructing/ installing asphalt bike path with grass/gravel shoulders, chain link fence, stone-lined and grass- lined swales, gravel filter beds and pea stone diaphragms; re-decking two steel multi-girder bridges with timber decking, protective railing, miscellaneous concrete bridge repairs; storm water treatment and wetland mitigation areas; and providing an asphalt paved public access ramp including fill type retaining wall.
