Abatement/Removal & Demolition Services of a building located at 203 Pine Mountain Road, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Property Inspection is available upon request and asbestos assessment report available for review by contacting Mark Miller, Public Works Director, 865-429-7312 or mmiller@cityofpigeonforgetn.gov. The property consists of an old motel building, asphalt parking lot with curb, and a swimming pool. All material, foundation/footers, and accessory structures are to be removed and hauled off and the asphalt is to remain. After pool is removed hole is to be filled compacted and level. Once the building is removed, the former building area is to be level with the asphalt and planted with grass. The General Contractor is required to obtain all necessary State and Local permits for demolition and asbestos abatement and removal. All disposal fees are to be paid for by the General Contractor. Proof of general liability insurance is required All bids must be in a sealed envelope with bidder's name and address on the outside and marked "Bid for Demolition Pine Mountain Road". The City hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded a full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and shall not be discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, sex, age, national origin, or disability in consideration for an award.
