Description

Any Request for Information Shall Be in Writing. Questions Must Be Received by Friday, September 9, 2022 at 4 Pm Central Time. Email Shall Be Sent to Ken Pilgreen at Kpilgreen@lafayettela.gov. Subject: Environmental Emergency Response Rfp No Bidder May Withdraw His Proposal for at Least Sixty (60) Calendar Days After the Time Scheduled for the Opening of Proposals. Each Proposal Shall Follow the Instructions Listed in the Rfp Regarding Submittal of Their Proposal. Proposals Will Be Evaluated by the Purchaser Based on the Evaluation Criteria Outlined in the Request for Proposals. Therefore, the Proposal Should Be Submitted Initially on the Most Favorable Terms That the Vendor Can Offer. At Its Discretion, Lcg Reserves the Right to Request Best and Final Offers From the Rfp Finalists. The Vendor Should Be Prepared to Accept This Rfp for Incorporation Into a Contract Resulting From This Rfp. The Contract May Incorporate Some or All of the Vendor's Proposal. It is Understood That the Proposal Will Become a Part of the Official File on This Matter Without Obligation to Lcg. Contractors or Contracting Firms Submitting Proposals in the Amount of $1.00 or More Shall Certify That They Are Licensed Contractors Under Chapter 24 of Title 37 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 and Show Their License Number on the Front of the Sealed Envelope in Which Their Proposal is Enclosed. Contractors Shall Be Licensed for the Classification of Hazardous Waste Treatment and Removal Contractor and Hazwoper Training. Proposals in the Amount of $1.00 or More, Not Submitted in Accordance With This Requirement, Shall Be Rejected and Shall Not Be Read. Additional Information Relative to Licensing May Be Obtained From the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Lafayette Consolidated Government Strongly Encourages the Participation of Dbes (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) in All Contracts or Procurements Let by the Lafayette Consolidated Government for Goods and Services and Labor and Material. To That End, All Contractors and Suppliers Are Encouraged to Utilize Dbes Business Enterprises in the Purchase or Sub-contracting of Materials, Supplies, Services and Labor and Material in Which Disadvantaged Business Are Available. Lafayette Consolidated Government Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Proposals or Any Portions Thereof, to Waive Informalities and to Select the Proposal That Best Suits Its Needs. Lcg Further Reserves the Right to Make an Award Without Further Discussion of the Proposal Submitted.
