| Description | Bidders must submit a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid as bid security. Successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Contract time: One Hundred Twenty (120) Calendar Days. Liquidated damages of $1,000.00 per calendar day for each day in default after the stipulated completion date. The Claiborne County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to determine responsible bidders, responsive bids, the lowest and best bid, reject and all bids, award to the bidder believed most advantageous to Claiborne County, and to waive any informalities in the bids and bidding process. |
