J046--Reverse Osmosis System Maintenance

The Contractor shall provide all necessary services, replacement supplies, consumables/disposable items, parts, accessories and other support required for the proper operation per manufacturer’s defined guidelines of the VA owned reverse osmosis (RO) system on behalf of the VA Western Colorado Healthcare System (VAWCHCS), 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Sanitization of water lines and water treatment system shall be completed after tank changes, when elevated Endotoxin above 10 Eu/ml or colony count above 10cfu/ml, or when repairs are completed breaking into the closed system. Services shall be required for one (1) base year period and four (4) option years. The water system(s) are installed in Building one (1) Main Building on the facility campus. The RO system is necessary for processing of surgical and dental instruments specific for initial cleaning, washing and disinfection. The system is also utilized in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) area of the facility.
