Description | The work under this solicitation shall include furnishing all labor and materials necessary to rebuild the Dardanelle-Structure 87 portion of the Tap to Dardanelle 161kV transmission line. The contractor shall remove all existing conductor, optical ground wire, and overhead ground wire with associated hardware and rebuild with all new materials. The total length of the rebuild is approximately 19.59 miles. This line rebuild has been designed to utilize the existing steel lattice towers. Work shall be performed with the line deenergized. The contractor shall perform work in a manner to minimize the amount of time the line is out of service. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130 and the small business size standard is $45.0 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204(h), the of this requirement is estimated to be more than $10,000,000.
