Description | Scope of Work: The work on this project will include but is not limited to: a. Removal of concrete bases and poles for the tennis court. b. 2 1/2 milling of existing pavement on the tennis court. c. Removal and replacement of tennis court fencing d. Placement of new concrete bases and poles for tennis court along with net. e. Placement of new pavement for tennis/pickle ball court and line striping. f. New ADA stone walking trail and paved parking area. g. Two new inlets and piping to collect drainage. h. Top soil, seed and mulch all areas disturbed during construction. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. The surety shall name as payee or obligee the Archbald Borough. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor will be required to be signed and notarized prior to the award of any contract. A no-lien agreement will be required to be signed and filed by the contractor before any work begins on the project. Notice is hereby given that the project for which construction proposals are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744, and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 of August 15, 1961, as amended on August 9, 1963. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid guaranty, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omission informalities relative thereto. |
