Description

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center RDC) operated by The Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to solicit proposals in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) 22-092C to replace the existing fire alarm system throughout the entire PPPL campus located at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. The scope of work of the project includes the replacement of the entire existing fire alarm system, command center, software, A/V devices, sensors, wiring, fiber, and the Emergency Voice Evacuation System (EVES). The magnitude of this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Bid, performance and payment bonds are required. The period of performance is 365 calendar days after subcontract award. This procurement is unrestricted, full and open. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621. The full RFP may be reviewed and downloaded by clicking on the "Procurement Opportunities" link and then on the appropriate RFP link. There will be a Pre-Proposal Videoconference scheduled for 10:00 AM (EST), Wednesday, November 9, 2022 and a Site Visit scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2022. Firms must return the RFP Acknowledgement Form contained in the RFP to receive information to attend both events. Attendance of both the Pre-Proposal Videoconference and Site Visit is pre-requisite for proposal submission. Proposals are due to PPPL by 4:00 PM EST, Wednesday, November 30, 2022. This announcement shall not commit PPPL to issue a subcontract for this effort, or to pay any costs incurred by offerors in the preparation and submittal of proposals in response to this RFP. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
