Description

The project located at 401 West Carpenter Street, Charlevoix, Michigan 49720 is the existing City’s electric utility building. An existing building is located on the site which will be demolished. The new construction consists of approximately 47,000 SF of main building which includes vehicle storage, workshops and storage along with an office space. In addition to the main building, there are 9 outbuildings located at the perimeter of the site. These outbuilding include the following: Salt Storage building and Mixing pad, PCB building, Reel Storage Building, Electrical Storage Building, Cold Storage Building, Parks Storage, Hot Patch equipment and DPW Cold Storage building. The site work will include a complete restoration of the site with new paving, stormwater retention, underground utilities and entry drives.
