| Description | 1. Repair loose and missing bricks in the existing sign base. 2. Raise the sign up 12” to 15”. Materials used to raise sign must match existing sign color. 3. Restore/refresh the exterior finish of the existing sign housing. 4. Increase the size of the font on both sides of the sign. DOAV will work with Contractor after award on the final text font size. 5. Text on the sign to include “Virginia Department of Aviation” and “5702” on both sides of the sign. 6. Add the agency seal to both sides of the existing sign. DOAV will provide artwork upon award. Currently, the text on the sign is backlit. DOAV is interested in looking at the option of having the agency seal backlit as well. 7. Replace the light fixture and lamps inside the sign with a new light fixture and lamps. | ||
