Description | The City of Bullhead City, Arizona is extending an Invitation for Bid for the installation of Armorock epoxy resin manhole inserts, and the removal and replacement of the concrete collars, frames, covers, and manhole riser rings on 39 existing sanitary sewer manholes and other work as necessary for the completion of the project in accordance with the Project Specifications. Bypass pumping (or other approved method) will be required at all manholes to repair and coat all manhole benches and channels within this project. The manholes are in various locations throughout the City. The City of Bullhead City Utilities Department will provide the Armorock manhole inserts, Ram-Nek mastic sealant, epoxy coating for the bench and channel, Pro-Ring (EPP) Grade Rings, EJ COM 3200 composite frames and lids. The contractor will be responsible for providing M1 Adhesive/Sealant as recommended by Cretex to adhere the grade rings, concrete, cement slurry, grout, or any other materials not provided by the City at no additional cost to the City. The City inspector may elect to salvage manhole lids and/or frames at inspector's discretion. The contractor will be responsible for proper disposal of all other removed materials including but not limited to cast iron frames and lids, concrete collars, concrete cones, asphalt and debris cleaned from each manhole at no additional cost to the City. Project must be complete within 120 days of the Notice to Proceed.
