Description

Amendment 0001 posted on 12/13/2023. The purpose of this amendment is to remove clause 252.204-7021 from section I. This amendment is also to include revisions to language in the PWS, CLIN 0001 Task 0001. This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is not a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District is issuing the sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for the Overhaul Nineteen (19) Vertical Turbine Pumps at the Dissolved Oxygen Injection System Sites. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333914 - Measuring, Dispensing, And Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing. The Product Service Code is J043 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Pumps and Compressors. The potential magnitude for this requirement is estimated between $1 Million to$ 5 Million dollars. Business Size, to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman_Owned Business, and Large Business. The Government must be able to verify SBA certification of HUBZone, 8(a), and SDB via the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov/) 7. Capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Please state if you have experience in marine engineering. If significant subcontracting (self-performance is less than 40%) or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements to include the percentage anticipated to be self-performed by each party. 8. Please provide evidence of the following: a) Contractual evidence within the last five years that your firm has rebuilt ITT/GouldVTPs like those listed in Appendix A b) Current capabilities for the rebuilding/refurbishment of ITT/Gould VTPs like the ones listed in Appendix A. AND c) Current supply chain capabilities for the acquisition of required parts and material. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
