| Description | Denver Civic Ventures, managed by the Downtown Denver Partnership ("DDP"), seeks a qualified team with the expertise and experience to provide general construction services ("GC services") to DDP for tree bed construction, retrofit, and/or enlargement projects relating to the Urban Forest Initiative ("UFI"). DDP is seeking to select up to five (5) contractors to bid on work. The estimated compensation of the work will total $850,000 over three years. The qualifying firms will receive the first right to submit bids for work as it arises between the selection and December 31, 2024. Work will vary in size and scope; qualifying firms will receive at minimum $50,000 of work if selected. Work will occur throughout 2023 and 2024. The GC services shall generally include, but not be limited to (1) utility locates (2) excavation (3) construction of tree bed area (4) electrical work (5) waterproofing, if necessary (6) landscape and irrigation (7) masonry and pavement (8) civil/structural site work (9) installation of structural cells. In addition to the construction tasks and disciplines referenced above the GC Services may include: investigation, planning & scheduling, supervision, coordination, closeout, signoff, permits, and warranties. The selected firm shall be prepared to provide work either directly or through subcontractors.
