Description

Fire extinguishers are required by fire code to be installed in buildings, annually inspected, recharged as needed and requires a six year Maintenance test/Hydrostatic test. Georgia State University’s annual inspection service agreement must include the inspection of the fire extinguisher cylinder, nozzle, gage, content level and pressure, shell, nameplate, hanger/seismic bracing and installation of a State of Georgia required inspection tag that meets specified state guidelines.
