Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information" Proposals from all business concerns will be accepted for the Design-Build (D-B) solicitation of the Natchez Trace Parkway Pavement Rehabilitation and Safety Improvements, Project No. NP-NATR 3N16 3H25 ETC, located in Attala, Choctaw, Leake, Madison, and Webster Counties in Mississippi, as Solicitation Number: 693C73-23-R-000002. Contract Award/Notice to Proceed is subject to availability of funds. The project consists of the reconstruction/rehabilitation of the Natchez Trace Parkway (NATR) from milepost (MP) 121 to MP 204 including pull-offs, parking areas' and connecting roads. The work consists of asphalt pavement roadway reconstruction/rehabilitation with drainage/culvert improvements, stabilizing erosion at roadway slopes, improving safety with options for raised profile striping and safety edge, bridge joint repairs, repair of delaminated concrete deck, concrete railing and concrete curb, installation of waterproofing membrane and new wearing surface on bridge decks, and other miscellaneous work. The work includes pavement rehabilitation using full depth reclamation (FDR), asphalt milling and overlay, drainage/culvert improvements, stabilizing erosion at roadway slopes, improving safety with options for raised profile striping and safety edge and minor bridge rehabilitation work. The bridge work includes sealing concrete surfaces, replacing expansion joints, performing concrete repairs, micro milling existing asphalt overlays and placing asphalt overlays with waterproofing membrane. This work also includes safety improvements to enhance delineation and reduce crashes, drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options. The design and construction cost for all the work schedules is estimated to be between $130,000,000 to $180,000,000. The Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD), of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a "two steps" Design-Build (D-B) selection process. Solicitation documents for Phase One, Request for Qualifications (RFQ), should be issued on or about August 15, 2022. Statements of Qualifications are due on September 20, 2022, at the EFLHD office in Ashburn, Virginia. A selection committee will review and evaluate contractor qualifications and select up to three of the most highly qualified D-B firms/teams based on the established RFQ evaluation criteria to participate in Phase Two of this D-B selection process. During Phase Two, the short-listed firms/teams will be sent a Request for Proposal (RFP), which will outline the remainder of the process requirements.
