| Description | Removal of remaining surface features on the South Parcel including but not limited to: Weathered asphaltic pavement, Concrete foundations and pavements, and Miscellaneous metal debris and equipment present on site. Excavation of metals-impacted materials from two areas (arsenic containing material in Area 3 and lead containing material in Area 4) of the South Parcel. Load and transport for offsite disposal as Class 2 waste. Excavation of benzo(a)pyrene impacted materials from Areas 1 and 2, and the benzo(a)pyrene and benzo(b)fluoranthene (PAH) impacted material in Area 5 to the prescribed depths in each area for transportation for offsite disposal as Class 1 waste. Restoration of site including import of select fill to reach final elevations indicated on the Plans and compaction to meet the requirements specified followed by installation of 6-inches of top soil, grading to drain, and seeding all disturbed areas. |
