Description

SR 656 /17th Street from West of Bridge (MP 0.714) to SR A1A ( MP 1.878), Indian River County SR 5 /US-1 from 6th Ave (MP 4.058) to 12th Street ( MP 4.779), Indian River County FM 446106-1 scope: • Mill and resurface existing pavement • Evaluate the bike lane and sidewalk improvement within project limits • Upgrade the bike lane and sidewalk to current standards within the exiting ROW • Reconstruct non-compliant curb ramps and driveways. • Evaluate and implement the safety report recommendations • All improvements must conform to ADA compliance • Resolve the ponding issue and repair damaged drainage structures • Retrofit lighting at signalized intersection • Upgrade signal to meet the current standards with new camera detection system • Bridge #880077 Span 57-64 Replacement: a. Remove existing bridge superstructure and substructure from Spans 57 to 64 b. Replace all existing beams and bearing pads from Spans 57 to 59 c. Replace existing precast concrete deck panels in Spans 57 to 59 and existing flat slab deck in Spans 60 to 64 d. Replace existing bridge deck expansion joints from Bents 57 to 65 e. Replace existing substructure bent caps and piles from Bents 57 to 65 f. Apply methacrylate monomer to top surface of full length of bridge g. Apply penetrant sealer to exposed surfaces of existing beams in Spans 48 to 56 h.
