Description

Scope: Generally, fencing and/or gates used shall be either black vinyl coated or galvanized and 9-gauge x 2”, 6-feet high with 3-strand barbed wire as specified or directed. Gates shall be cantilever with either manual or electric slide. If required, power to the gates shall be provided by the Contractor and coordinated with the City project manager. Power shall be buried underground and conform to the National Electrical Code, current edition. Any existing chain link fencing or gates identified for removal shall be removed and disposed of off-site by the Contractor. Brush, limb and/or shrub clearing or pruning may be necessary to complete the installation or repair at certain locations. The intent is to only remove what’s necessary to complete the installation or repair.
