New Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) - SW1 Influent Pump Station

The scope of work for the Project is generally described as follows: A 105-mgd capacity wastewater IPS with future build-out to 172-mgd capacity consisting of: Site preparation including demolition, clearing, grubbing, excavation, foundation preparation, backfill. Existing utility relocations and adjustment of existing surface features such as maintenance holes and vaults to new grade. Two (2) pre-engineered metal buildings housing the IPS and electrical equipment. Two (2) trench style, self-cleaning wet wells side by side under same superstructure. Pump gallery consisting of five (5) 600 hp vertical turbine solids handling pumps with space for a total of eight (8) pumps, 42” diameter steel discharge headers, and precast valve vault connecting the headers to two force mains. Pre-manufactured biofilter odor control system. 5 MW emergency/standby power generator system h. Yard utilities including fiber optic, duct banks, potable water, non-potable water, natural gas, site drainage. Collection system connections to the IPS including junction structures, vaults, and maintenance holes. approximately 5,000 feet of dual 48” HDPE force mains including drainage vault approximately 4,000 feet of duct bank connecting WRF site to IPS site. Civil site improvements including paving, grading, curb and gutter, sidewalk, chain link fencing, and landscaping for an approximate 8-acre site.
