2022 Signal Detection Upgrade Project

Under this item the Vendor shall furnish a complete system or camera assemblies for intersections that detects vehicles on a roadway via processing of images and provides detector outputs to the Citys standard traffic signal cabinet to interface with traffic signal controller for the application shown on the contract documents. The Vendor shall also be responsible for the providing auxiliary equipment to assure system functionality per the manufacturers recommendations. The contract documents will state if any of the materials will be supplied by the City. Materials not supplied by the City shall be supplied by the contractor. If no materials list is provided in the contract documents, the Vendor shall furnish the complete system shown on the contract documents The City of Greeley is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish traffic imaging vehicle detection system devices and programs per the scope of services listed in this document. This includes replacing video detection and related accessory items at twelve (12) signalized intersections with the newest technology to enhance reliability and improved functionality. The "complete" system is composed of these principal items: signal detection cameras (stop bar and advance detection capabilities), processer units, mounting hardware and all necessary cables and miscellaneous hardware for the operation of the system.
