Demolition Services - Community Services

The intent of this scope of work is to safely demolish the existing structure(s), remove all debris, building materials, concrete, clear and clean the lot, and provide proper erosion control measures. This scope of work must be performed without any damage or alteration to any adjacent public or private properties. The successful completion of this project includes rendering the site safe, free of debris, backfilled were appropriate, and with erosion control measures in place for all disturbed surfaces. The contractor shall contact governing entities or utility company for disconnection of service where applicable. Any/all sewer, water, and/or gas lines must be plugged, or capped off properly as applicable. On-site waste systems, tanks, pools, pits, or ponds will be abandoned per the guidelines of the Jefferson County Health Department and filled with inorganic material. The contractor must notify Joel Knight of Community Services prior to fill and covering for required documentation. Failure to perform this task will void the contract, result in re-work, or payment forfeiture.
