1. Demo existing porch area and rebuild into living space per the attached stamped drawings. 2. Work shall conform to all applicable codes, be done according to manufacturers instructions if applicable, and follow industry best standards. 3. Job will not be considered complete until the job is verified and accepted by Plant Superintendent of designated supervisor. 4. All work must be warrantied to be free of defects in workmanship for one year after completion of work. 5. Contractor is responsible for removal and disposal of debris created during project and for cleaning or repairing any part of the facility damaged during work. This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The Broome DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude. The Broome DDSO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensations Insurance as well as completed Lobbing Law Forms and Signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The Broome DDSO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstandings or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other conditions. The Broome DDSO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binging. Please note all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitors log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the maintenance department.
