Municipal Walkway - Acton Arboretum

1. 200 linear feet of ADA Compliant walkway, 5 feet wide as designed on plan provided by owner. 2. Walkway surface to be built from “Ideal” pavers. Main body of walkway paved with Ideal’s “Yankee Cobble” pavers https://www.idealconcreteblock.com/tl_files/downloads/product-pdfs/yankeecobble/Yankee_Cobble.pdf with a “soldier row” along the edges paved with Ideal’s “Boston Colonial” pavers https://www.idealconcreteblock.com/product-details/items/boston-colonial.html 3. Color: “Quarry Blend,” or all grey (approved by owner). Other construction details: 4. Excavate and put down 12” dense grade, which will be supplied by the Town of Acton. 5. 1/2” stone dust on top of dense grade, to be supplied by contractor. 6. “soldier row” of Boston Colonial pavers to be mortared in place. 7. Polymeric sand to be broom swept on top to fill gaps. 8. Scale plan to be provided by Town of Acton. 9. Person hired will meet owner on site to review details prior to beginning excavation/ construction.
