Facility Remediation

Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking a contractor to complete remediation of spaces impacted by blackwater and sewage at the Frank Hagel Federal Building (FHFB) located at 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, California 94801. The Contractor shall properly action, pick up, transport, drop off, recycle, and/or dispose of impacted porous items off-site and clean and sanitize non-porous items for follow-on Public Health, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) inspection and testing. For the purposes of this statement of work, action includes isolating, abating, decontaminating, remediating, cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing for public health department CIH follow-on inspection. Any areas that fail the public health department CIH follow-on inspection that are contained within this Statement of Work are the responsibility of the contractor to further remediate. If item if porous and/or determined unable to meet standard, it may be disposed of, upon Agency approval. The Contractor shall provide SSA with the required supporting documents, and daily reports to include work planned, work completed, photos, percent completion by task, barriers to complete, notes, etc. meet CIH, industry, federal, state, local, county, and OSHA standards.
