Description

The contractor shall provide the tools, a Kohler factory trained technician, and equipment for the cleaning, inspecting, and the maintenance for 1 tank mounted generator. This unit is located at an airport which requires an escort on and off the facility. The technician that is providing the work will hold a valid government issued ID in order to be allowed on the government installation. Contractor shall provide written documentation for every visit outlining the preformed work. The contractor shall provide the following service as described below. Monthly 1. Visual check unit for leaks. 2. Wipe unit down. 3. Check fluid levels. 4. Check unit start time (5 sec. too full speed.) 5. Check battery cables for corrosion. 6. Check battery clamps and hold down clamps for tightness. 7. Check to ensure engine block heater is working correctly. 8. Visually ensure display functions properly. Annually 1. Change all filters, (oil, fuel and air). 2. Change oil following manufactures requirements. 3. Fuel and coolant testing. Send samples to an independent lab for analysis. Provide the report to the QAE via email directly from lab. 4. Fuel will be testing: D482,D524,D976,D2500,D130,D1298,D86,D93,D1796/D2709,D4294/D5453,D445 and Micro Organisms(yes or no). 5. Coolant will test for the following: Freeze point, PH, nitrate, Glycol% / antifreeze%, metal analysis, boil point, SCA# and total hardness. 6. Load test unit to 100% for 6hrs.
