Description

Project will construct intersection improvements at Montgomery Elementary School by installing a right turn lane on northbound Ashford Dunwoody Road into the school entrance, upgrading the existing traffic signal at the school exit, and upgrading to the pedestrian crossings at the school exit and at Chaucer Lane. The crossing of Ashford Dunwoody at Chaucer Lane will include a pedestrian refuge island and installation of the Ashford Dunwoody multiuse path between Oconee Pass and Brenton Way. Coordination will occur with Georgia Power Company representatives to install twenty-four pedestrian scale lighting as part of the streetscape to also include benches and trash receptacles.
