DRWP-2021 Valve Replacement Service-MD10192021

The Work is to install one 16 inch BIF Rate of Control Valve. This work will provide all, gaskets, rigging, equipment and tools to unhook and remove existing valve and install replacement valve in its place. All fitting will be leak tested and turning back over to the City of Columbus, for electrical and instrumentation hookup. The valve/meter combo weighs approximately 650 pounds each. Contractor shall remove the existing 16 inch BIF Model 20620 Rate of Control Valve on Filter #17 and install a replacement 16 inch Rate of Control Valve in its place. The contractor shall submit a work plan and provide all necessary equipment, tools, rigging, bolts, gaskets and accessories to do the removal and installation. When complete the valve joints will be tested and accepted if successfully installed.
