Description

Demolition of Three (3) Residential Building Structures and Barn at Rowan College at Burlington County 120, 122, and 126 Hartford Road, and Barn at 102 Hartford Road Mount Laurel, New Jersey, 08054 For the Demolition of Three (3) Residential Building Structures and Barn at Rowan College at Burlington County, Township of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and specifications prepared by T&M Associates, 200 Century Parkway, Suite B, Mt. Laurel, New Jersey The Work of the Project will be let in a single contract: Bid No. 23-03-B. The Project includes the demolition of three (3) residential building structures located at 120, 122, and 126 Hartford Road, and a barn located at 102 Hartford Road and related site items, Mt. Laurel Township, Burlington County, NJ. The demolition includes removal and disposal of hazardous materials, aboveground storage tanks, disconnection of utilities, abandonment of domestic wells, removal of septic systems, removal of site items and the structures and basements, footings and foundations, and providing and installing clean fill and soil erosion measures, and site restoration as well as associated work. Deadline for bidder's questions is Monday, October 17, by 2:00 PM. Questions shall be directed to Matt Farr, Chief Operating Officer of RCBC at mfarr@rcbc.edu and Mark Hansen, PM, of T&M Associates at mhansen@tandmassociates.com. Bids must be in triplicate (1 Original and 2 Copies) on the proposal forms provided and in the manner designated, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and proposal identification on outside, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Rowan College at Burlington County for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid; and must be delivered to the above place on or before the hour named. Rowan College at Burlington County assumes no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the dates set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of Rowan College at Burlington County to do so. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.1 et. Seq. pertaining to "County College Contracts Laws." All bidders are placed on notice that they are required to comply with all requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 through 10:5-38) and all duly adopted Affirmative Action Regulations (N.J.A.C. 17:27). All bidders shall comply with The New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act P.L. 1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25, et. Seq.) and The Public Works Contractor Registration Act P.L. 1999 c.238. Certificate of Compliance issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor shall be submitted with bid. In addition, and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.17, each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, the bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of valid and active Prequalification/Classification Certificate will be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. All bidders shall comply with (P.L.2004, c57) Business Registration Act and proof of their registration with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, shall be submitted with bid. Respondents are advised of their responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13 (P.L.2005, c.271, s.3).
