IVHQ Dock Leveler Purchase and Installation for Schapers Building

Vendor shall furnish and install a 20,000-40,000-pound hydraulic dock leveler with bumpers for the dock located on the back side of the Schapers Building. The lip of the dock leveler shall be hydraulic also. Installation includes fabrication of bumper bracket to sit in front of dock and anchor to dock floor. Existing pit is 75” wide x 78” long x 47” deep. Vendor is responsible for all existing pit alterations and/or modifications needed to accept proper installation of new dock leveler. If any mill finish ferrous metals are used in the equipment, they must be coated with a DTM (direct to metal) paint finish. Must be compatible with 208-3 phase electrical service. Vendor shall make all electrical connections including hard wiring new dock leveler into the existing box. Vendor shall remove and dispose of existing dock leveler and other existing materials not needed for the new installation.
