Cemetery Tank Replacement Project

Separate sealed bids for construction of Fillmore City Cemetery Tank Replacement Project will be received by Fillmore City from bidders. The work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and as shown on the DRAWINGS. The Fillmore City cemetery water tank is a 200,000 gallon above-ground steel water tank located north of the City Cemetery. The current tank is configured to provide storage for the City's lowest pressure zone. The current tank frequently drops to lower levels during high demand scenarios and struggles to remain filled. The project includes replacing the existing steel tank with a one-million-gallon concrete tank, adding 6,100' of 12" Ductile Iron Pipe for the tank fill line and discharge line and constructing a small irrigation booster pump system and building. The ENGINEER for this Contract will be Sunrise Engineering, Incorporated and they will be represented by Devan Shields, P.E. as Project Engineer.
