Description | This Quick Quote is to establish a contract for bi-weekly ground maintenance service to provide services at 203 Red Horse Drive, VA Beach, VA 23451. Please submit Grand Total for Services Requested. Last time/date to enter questions - August 23rd, 2022 at 12:30 pm The contract will start September 1st , 2022, with an approved eVA Purchase Order with the first ground maintenance service to be scheduled within days of contract start date Scope of Work: Mowing - Mow all grass areas (approximately 601,667 square feet) outside the fence lines on the property surrounding the mapped buildings/parking areas. The grass shall be mowed at a 3 inch height with a mower adequate to maintain a uniform appearance over the entire area. Weeding/Edging/Trimming - Edging/trimming along all appropriate areas on the grounds to include all walkways, curb lines, hard surfaces, fence lines and mowing obstacles. All flower beds (outlined in pink on map) at building 203 and 214 and the memorial should be weeded as needed. Parking lots and walkways - Weed removal in parking lots and medians as necessary. Fertilizer - the Contractor shall not use chemicals such as fertilizer or weed killer without prior authorization from Facility Manager, and amounts of specific chemicals will need to be reported. Clean Up: The contractor shall remove from the site any accumulation of grass clippings from hard surfaces and mulched areas after mowing/trimming. No dumping of any debris near drains. Supplies and Equipment: All supplies and equipment necessary to accomplish the requested services are to be provided by Contractor. Damage by Contractor: The Contractor will be responsible for any damage because of inappropriate mowing and edging. The Contractor will promptly repair the damage at their own expense. Ruts, holes, and other disfigurement of mowed areas caused by mowing equipment is to be repaired to the original condition by the Contractor. Schedule: Lawn Care Services shall take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday. The Contractor must provide schedule in advance to coordinate access to the grounds to the Point of Contact. The Contractor will check with the Point of Contact prior to leaving to ensure work is done properly to satisfaction. Any re-scheduling shall be communicated with the Point of Contact 48 hours before the scheduled biweekly lawn maintenance. Parking: Contractor can park in the parking area while completing the lawn care services in unmarked out of the way spaces. |
