Public Works Building Roof Replacement

Work includes the completion of: Installation of TPO roof membrane, skylights & roof curbs and required associated materials & products on the Public Works building; Replacement of damaged shingles, gable end-wall louvers & painting of fascia board on Salt House building on the same property. Additionally, include the removal and disposal of materials removed or unused. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable without recourse to the City. The Security may be in the form of a certified cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the same amount from an Incorporated Surety licensed to do business in the State of Missouri as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute, a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond, a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond, and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance of bid to him. Upon request, bid checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The City of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri retains the right to reject any or all bids submitted. The wage rates applicable to this project have been determined as required by law and are set forth in the detailed specifications. All methods, procedures, equipment, and workmanship used for the completion of this project must be in accordance with the attached Contract Documents. All requests for clarifications on these bidding documents must be received no later than Thursday, February 9, 2023, by 12:00 PM. The enclosed Request for Information (RFI) form shall be used for all submittals. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall furnish all of the labor, materials, machinery, and equipment and perform all of the work outlined below in accordance with the attached proposal. This contract shall consist of work described in contractor's proposal respondent to Sealed Bid No. 18-22, and include all items listed in the Request for Sealed Bid and any additional items listed in the proposal attached.
