As of March 23, 2023, a general contractor for this project has been assigned. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. According to the general contractor, the project will bid for sub-contractors in May 2023. The specific due date for sub-bids has not yet been released. Project overview: RIO Marine Village and The Preserve at RIO Marine Village is comprised of multi-family a combined 335 units (274 apartments, 48 Townhomes and 13 Live-Work, Amenity), approximately 35,000 SF of commercial space / restaurant space, multiple dry and wet boat slips, and improvements to Dixie Highway. Site also includes an area for pool and pool deck. Parking is distributed through the development as surface parking. While the properties on the North and South side of Dixie Highway are being entitled separately the intent is for the projects to be built as one.
