Description

A. Gaylord boxes and pallets will be provided by the vendor through an exchange program. As boxes and pallets are transported, replacement boxes and pallets will be provided. A minimum of 30 pallets and 5 Gaylord boxes will be provided with each trailer. Pallets should be 40” to 44” in width. Boxes should be approximately 40” square and ¼” thick. B. Gaylord boxes and pallets are transported from collection points to the Twin Chimneys Landfill by County personnel for consolidation onto trailers provided by the vendor. Trailers should be minimum of 48 feet and able to be loaded from 48” loading dock. C. Vendor will be called for pickup when enough material is onsite for pickup. Material will be collected within three business days of call. It is anticipated that approximately two (2) trailers will be needed each week. Trailers average a minimum of 10 tons.
