Description

The successful contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision and other resources as required for the Old Leonardtown Demolition. Procurement Program Participation Goals MBE Participation (%) 29.0 African American MBE Participation (%) 8.0 Socio Economic Participation Criteria The Contractor shall establish its own limit of disturbance by conducting stakeout of property lines. The Contractor shall install a perimeter fence and maintain throughout the project. Fencing to be removed upon project completion. Any existing conditions damaged during the installation of these measures shall be repaired by the Contractor and restored to original condition. The Contractor shall install and maintain all sediment and erosion controls as needed for means and methods of completing the Contract work. The Contractor shall comply with MDE design standards. The Contractor shall demolish Old Leonardtown Residence Halls #238, 239, 240, 241, 242 and 243 to top of existing slabs at grade. Crawlspaces shall be sealed and left in safe manor for future demolition. The Contractor shall form and pour a concrete slab at each crawl space opening. Thickness of slab to match adjacent slab. The Contractor is responsible for all waste haul off. The Contractor to provide monthly waste reports to the University. The Contractor shall include an add-alternate for the demolition of Leonardtown Office Building #201 to top of existing slab at grade. The Contractor is responsible for all waste haul off. This will also include three adjacent Office Trailers, Bldgs. 116, 204, 207 The sole point of contact between Contractors and the University will be formally made at scheduled meetings or in writing through the Issuing Office. Requests for clarification or additional information must be made in writing to the Procurement Officer and received by the dated referenced in the RFP Key Information Sheet (12/6/22 @ 3:00 PM EST). Only written communications relative to the procurement shall be considered. Hard copy, facsimile and electronic mail are acceptable methods for submission of questions. It is incumbent upon the Contractor to verify University receipt of their questions.
