Description

U.S. Department of Energy Southwestern Power Administration Security Fence Replacement Construction Project Gore, Oklahoma Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation No. 89503622BSW000031 July 01, 2022 The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the replacement of a security fence at a facility and substation. The work under this contract shall include furnishing all labor and materials necessary to completely replace the existing security fence and complete required grounding improvements at SWPA's facility and substation located in Gore, Oklahoma. Bidders must be able to demonstrate through past performance prior experience with this type of construction project. The onsite superintendent must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience as a superintendent or foreman on similar projects and knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards. This is a 100% Small Business (SB) set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238990 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude of this project is currently estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contractor registration in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM) is required for contractor to be eligible for award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is on or about July 26, 2022, with bids being due on or about August 30, 2022. Once issued, solicitation documents will be available electronically for download at https://www.fedconnect.net. Hard copies of the solicitation package will not be distributed. All responsible sources may submit a bid and will be considered by Southwestern.
