RFP Engineering - Design Services for Wilson Boulevard Well House and Infrastructure Improvements

As requested by the Engineering and Project Management Division (hereinafter, the "Division"), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, "County") has issued this Request for Professional Services (hereinafter, "RPS") with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified Consultants in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The Consultant, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated. The Engineering and Project Management Division (EPMD) of the Public Utilities Department (PUD) has program areas funded annually for the evaluation and upgrading of the Raw Water Wellfield System throughout Collier County. Collier County will be completing a roadway widening project on Wilson Boulevard from Immokalee Road to Golden Gate Boulevard.There are twelve (12) existing Tamiami Wells and a 24-inch raw water main and applicable infrastructure within/adjacent to the roadway widening project area. These wells account for 15% of the total fresh raw water being delivered to the two regional water treatment plants. The existing raw water main will need to be replaced with a new raw water main located adjacent to the new westerly right of way line of Wilson Boulevard. Improvements at each wellhouse/well vault, including, but not limited to, connecting existing well piping to the new raw water main, wellhouse/well vault site improvements, electrical conduit & conductor improvements and SCADA improvements will be completed as part of this project.
