Deserter Creek Timber Sale, Eglin AFB, FL

The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary for timber removal services at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This sale consists of harvesting all merchantable slash pine and sand pine trees. There are 5 harvest units under 1 Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). The CLIN consists of 235 acres and contains approximately 7,160 tons of pine timber. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site and cruise the timber prior to submitting their bid. Timber will be sold on a lump-sum basis where the winning bidder pays 100% of the bid price at the start of the contract. Timber to be sold is located within harvest units 16P07, 18P01, 20P01, 20P02, and 20P03. Deserter Creek timber sale is located in an open area.
