The County of York, Virginia, Office of Central Purchasing, as agent for the Economic Development Authority of York County, Virginia (EDA or Owner), is seeking the services of a professional contractor to perform renovations of the Riverwalk Restaurant and the Water Street Grill to combine the two spaces into one restaurant (the Project). The Work includes but is not limited to demolition, removal and storage of equipment, exterior entrances, porches, masonry, siding, windows, roofing, railings, extensive interior renovations, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, restrooms, kitchens, bars, interior finishes, painting and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents, as indicated in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, etc., to complete the project in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The project will be bid as a Single Prime Lump Sum Contract. The entire project is required to reach Substantial Completion within 240 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for construction, and Final Completion within 270 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for construction.
