Contractor will also replace existing switches with dimmer switches. The projects magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S84-22-B-0003 information will be advertised electronically on or about 8 July 2022 at https://www.sam.gov/ with an anticipated award date of August 2022. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The 110th Wing requires the replacement of ~20 year old fluorescent fixtures and lighting with energy efficient LED fixtures and lighting. The upgraded lighting are critical to the stability of the mission by reducing energy consumption footprint and utility costs in accordance with DOD and federal policies in Buildings 6911, 6916, 6923, 6925, and 6930(non-high bay spaces). The existing lighting system has high energy consumption costs and provides inadequate light to occupied and utilized spaces. The average CI for all electrical infrastructure is 78 with individual facilities as low as 62. Antiquated lighting is also costing extensive maintenance for bulb replacement and disposal
