Description

As of July 7 ,2023 the project was awarded to A1 Chipseal Co and Rocky Mountain Pavment LLC for $453,604.07. Reference Number 0000306446 Question Acceptance Deadline 05/22/2023 06:00 PM EDT The Contractor shall provide street and parking lot striping at various locations within the City of Woodland Park, per the itemized list provided in the bid package. Any and all additional striping must be approved by the City of Woodland Park, prior to work being performed and will be paid for at the same unit prices. All paint shall be SETFAST SOLVENTBORNE ACRYLIC TRAFFIC MARKING PAINT. Glass beads are required for all pavement markings within streets. Glass beads are not required in parking lots. A copy of the paint manufacturer's specifications shall be provided to the City at the time of award of the contract. The Contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, materials and labor to complete the work outlined in this scope of work. The Contractor shall provide all necessary and required traffic control measures to complete the work, without causing unnecessary impacts or delays to the traveling public. All surfaces shall be sufficiently cleaned prior to painting. No painting will be permitted if the temperature of both ground and air are less than 40F, or if the surface is wet. The Contractor shall be responsible for correcting any striping that has been opened to traffic prior to proper drying time, or which has been damaged by weather. The City will be conducting numerous pavement maintenance operations (i.e., full depth reclamation/mill and overlay) during the period of performance of this contract. Coordination with the City for scheduling of maintenance will be required and may require more than one mobilization.The City Wide Striping will be per the attached Master Striping Inventory. City Wide Crackseal, Chipseal, and Fogseal As part of the City of Woodland Park Pavement Management Plan, the City is seeking sealed bids to crack seal, chip seal, double chip seal and City Wide Striping select City streets in 2023. The scope is to complete treatments for 2023 from the attached Chip and Fog Seal Maps and Lists. The Contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, materials and labor to complete the work outlined in this scope of work. All work shall be done in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Chip seal Applications and the City of Woodland Park Engineering Standards. The Contractor shall provide all necessary and required traffic control measures to complete the work, without causing unnecessary impacts or delays to the traveling public. The Contractor shall be responsible for correcting any damaged chip seal applications that have been opened to traffic prior to proper drying time, or which have been damaged by weather. The City will be conducting numerous pavement maintenance operations (i.e., full depth reclamation/mill and overlay) during the period of performance of this contract. Coordination with the City for scheduling of maintenance will be required and may require more than one mobilization.
