ADA Transition Wayfinding Signage and Campus Circulation

: This project scope aims to install thirty-seven benches across campus to serve the intercampus golf cart service that provides transportation for campus affiliates with mobility disabilities. The contractor must procure, store, and install the custom benches. The scope of work required at each site varies, but may include demolition of existing benches or hardscape (asphalt, concrete, brick), excavation, grading, rebar and concrete placement for new concrete pads, and miscellaneous landscaping including irrigation and planting. The level of impact for the varying sites can be categorized into low, medium, and high. Low impact sites typically do not involve demolition and only entail installing the new bench on existing pavement. Medium impact sites typically entail removal of existing benches and replacement with a new bench. High impact sites typically entail demolition and removal of existing hardscape, grading, new concrete flatwork, and landscape modifications. Access is constrained and laydown will have to occur within the work area per bench location.
